Polyester insulation is safe to install
Members of the Polyester Insulation Manufacturers Association of Australia raise concerns with Government about poor quality insulation reeking of fumes.
PIMAA is concerned with changes to the Energy Efficient Homes Package (EEHP), which was announced on 3rd November 2009 without industry consultation. PIMAA entered a submission to the EEHP Senate Enquiry that closed on 18th December 2009.
Other issues include the changes to the Building Code of Australia, including six star energy ratings.
