What sort of help is out there for you
Over the years the TFIA has devoted a lot of resources to lobbying Government for TCF funding and support programs. There is a great deal on offer at present. If you need help in completing application forms, we run information nights and are happy to assist members or direct them to program specialist consultants.
Grant Finder
business.gov.au - the Australian Government's principal business resource - has a Grant Finder that allows you to search Australian Government grants, and grants from your state or territory.
AusIndustry
The Australian Government's Department of Innovation, Industry, Science and Research delivery division offers entitlement, concession and competitive based programs, including the TCF Strategic Capability Program (SCP) and the TCF Small Business Program.
AusTrade
The Australian Government's trade and investment development agency, with a global network of 110 offices in 60 countries, administers the Export Market Development Grant (EMDG) scheme.
Small Business Support
The Small Business Support Line advisers will be able to provide information, assistance or referral on small business issues including:
- business planning
- registration and licences
- marketing and promotion
- government initiatives, grants and assistance
- employing staff
- importing and exporting

Enterprise Connect
A national network of 12 centres staffed by a team of highly skilled advisors who provide free business reviews to eligible Australian SMEs and dollar-for-dollar tailored advisory service grants up to $20,000.
TCF Innovation Network
The TCF Innovation Network is tasked with strengthening and creating links between TCF firms, researchers and educational institutions. The network - part of the Government's Enterprise Connect initiative - will be coordinated by a specialist TCF adviser to help collaborate, map clusters and develop case studies around best TCF practice.
TCF Industries Innovation Council
Currently with 15 members, the TCF Industries Innovation Council provides strategic advice on innovation priorities to the Minister; champions innovation in the TCF industries; and builds connections with other organisations, including the Enterprise Connect network.
