A PLACE FOR BUSINESSES TO DEVELOP

The Textile & Fashion Hub is a collaboration between the Australian Government/AusIndustry, Kangan Institute and TFIA. A space for SMEs to conveniently access resources, knowledge, leading edge equipment, capital and experience from a central Hub.

The Textile & Fashion Hub is for small to medium enterprises (SMEs) and product development teams of 15 people or less. An ABN or ACN is required for registration.

Details of Hub Facilities & Equipment

WHAT CAN YOU DO?

  • Access the light filled manufacturing space located at the Kangan Institute campus Building F, 85 Cremorne Street, Richmond, Victoria
  • Use leading edge equipment, production room, resource library, CAD room, seminar rooms with touch screens, meeting rooms and showrooms
  • Attend any programs on Digital Mondays, Business Tuesdays, Artisan Wednesdays, Manufacturing Thursdays or Innovation Fridays
  • Network locally and internationally with like minded people through the Hub Cluster program
  • Receive assistance with your preproduction and sourcing requirements

HOW IT WORKS:

  • Join below and pay by Paypal - the Value and Professionals plans allow for monthly payment
  • We set you up and pass your details on to the Kangan Institute - our partners - who will make sure you get access to the Hub
  • Let us know what you'd like to do, depending on what package you choose: seminars you wish to visit; training you may need; and what equipment you would like to use to produce your sampling range
  • We will put you in touch with our specialists to talk through design time required so that we can book you in.
  • If you need services we don't provide we can recommend you good people who do and we are happy to facilitate with local production and suppliers.

For associations, consultants, agencies and trainers that want to conduct seminars, events, meetings and/or training in the Hub:

  • Access to Hub caterer for meal planning (costs of catering not included)
  • Kitchen use with tea and coffee provided
