The Council of Textile and Fashion Industries of Australia (TFIA) is recognised as the peak organisation representing Australian manufacturers of textile, clothing and fashion products.
For more than thirty-five years the Council - and its forerunners - has provided a pivotal focus for the industry in Australia providing leadership on government policy development, delivering information and education to industry and encouraging excellence and innovation throught the industry.

All members of the TFIA are entitled to access the discount program operated by the TFIA. This consists of the services outlined below.
TFIA members and employees can access discounted rates on Avis car rental. Avis rental cars are available at 4,200 locations worldwide including all major airports and can be used for both business and personal use.
Simply quoting the TFIA member Avis Worldwide Discount (AWD) number accesses special TFIA member rates.
Recent Local Telephone Exchange upgrades mean you can now reduce your telephone bills by up to 45%. These savings can be achieved without changing your carrier and are provided free of charge and with no obligation by United Technologies Australia Pty Ltd.
The TFIA has identified up to 34% in cost savings using UTA.
TFIA Silver, Gold and Platinum members receive free access (normally $600 or more per month) to the TFIA-specific media monitoring service provided by Rehame Australia. Through the Rehame website companies are able to track media coverage of the industry, access media articles and clips and send press releases at a discounted rate.
TFIA members are entitled to discounts off the price of the range of publications and briefing documents provided by TFIA Business Services Statistics Division. A copy of the range of these publications can be viewed on the TFIA website www.tfia.com.au
An option with all memberships of the TFIA is to include details of your company on the TFIA website at no charge. With around 1,000 hits per month from both domestic and international visitors this provides a good opportunity for your company to promote itself free of charge.
All TFIA members and their employees are eligible to attend TFIA events at the significantly reduced members rate. In some instances invites for TFIA run events will be offered exclusively in the first instance to TFIA members meaning that you have the front running for many popular and exciting seminars and briefings.
